Yikes! Absolute worst Pizza experience. I've lived on the island 9 years and have tried almost all. I ordered delivery. The Pizza arrived late, lukewarm, greasy and without sides. After a phone call, sides arrived 1/2 hour later, by then Pizza was ice cold. Customer service skills totally non-existant. Their response to the problem was hanging up the telephone. There are many Pizza places in Newport and Middletown & Portsmouth go to ANY of them before ordering from Aquidneck Pizza. If you like Pizza and prefer good customer service, this is not the pizza place for you

Nice, clean restaurant with beer and wine. Pizza was a New England Style or what I like to call a Greek Style Pizza. A medium thick, buttery, crisp crust with a spicy sauce. Cheese was ample and the pepperoni was tasty and the supply was sufficient. Would recommend to anyone going to Newport area.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for over over 25 years. They have, hands down, the best pizza I have ever tasted. I lived in Boston for over 5 years (moved back to the island a few years ago) and had to suffer through the supposed world class pizza's of Pizzeria Regina and the other Italian restaurants in the North End. None of them hold a candle to Aquidneck Pizza. The restaurant is family owned and operated, the prices are great, the portions are very genorous, the location is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. The restaurant just re-opened early this year (2006) after shutting down for a year long renovation in which they completely re-built the bulding, adding a second floor and full bar. They did a wonderful job and the restaurant now boasts beautiful views of the beach and cliff walk. Plus, since they re-opened, they now deliver (I even got a pie delivered to me in the middle of a big snow storm earlier this year when everything else on the island was closed!). One note, on the menu there is much more than just pizza...the reataurant should probably be listed under Italian Cuisine since they also serve pastas, lasagna, steaks, chicken dishes, soups, salads, etc.... all very tasty as well...(the eggplant dishes are world class btw). Highly recommended!!!
